About Houston PetSet

Houston PetSet is a 501c3 nonprofit with the mission to end the homelessness and suffering of companion animals and elevate their status in society. We are the only organization in Houston that is singularly focused on solving the stray animal crisis. With greater collaboration among stakeholders; municipal engagement; increased funding; more accessible community services; and improved ordinances, laws and enforcement, we believe this is a SOLVABLE problem.

We work every day to provide subject matter expertise on this unique crisis. We fill the gaps in funding, build relationships and collaboration, collect data and continue to execute our Six Impact Areas that will lead to success in Houston and beyond.

For the Animals Documentary

With catastrophic numbers of stray dogs roaming the streets of Houston, TX, twin activists and philanthropists Tena Lundquist Faust and Tama Lundquist lead the charge and take matters into their own hands to save the animals they love. As more and more strays plague the city, causing a public health crisis and attacking its residents, Tena and Tama take to the streets for a hands-on approach.
